To become a volunteer, head to "https://enrollment.codefycs.org/apply" and complete the application form!
If you haven't already, you will need to create your own, individual account to apply as a Codefy volunteer.
First, we will send you an email confirming your acceptance into Codefy!
Afterwards, your account on our enrollment website will be promoted to a volunteer account! Using your volunteer account, you can now head over to our class description pages and sign up to mentor our classes.
If you applied to become a Department Volunteer, you will be notified separately about your roles and duties!
Currently, our organization offers 2 positions to new volunteers:
Individuals who choose to become a Class Mentor will pick a specific class & attend that class on a regular basis. During the class, he/she will guide students through their assignments and answer any questions which may arise during the lesson. Occasionally, mentors will be given the opportunity to lead a class or start a new class of their own!
Individuals who choose to become a Department Volunteer will need to dedicate more time in order to fulfill their position, but in return, will be provided with a higher role & more specialized jobs within the organization.
Yes! Any Volunteer or Mentor within our organization can hold multiple positions. Please contact us for more information!
Absolutely! Volunteering hours spent with Codefy are eligible for most school-mandated community service programs. Please contact us for more information!
Unfortunately, due to the fact that we provide our classes & events free-of-charge, we are unable to offer any monetary compensation. However, you are welcome to apply your hours spent with us towards a volunteer service program, or reference us in a resume!
